Trash that is not placed inside a wastebasket, must be marked “TRASH/BASURA”. Building janitorial staff is instructed not to throw anything away that is not inside a wastebasket or marked accordingly. Tenant is responsible for the removal and disposal of all furniture, fixtures and equipment, etc. from their premises.
Please DO NOT leave items that are not trash on top or near wastebaskets that might be misconstrued as garbage.
Downtown Doral actively implements a Single Stream Recycling Program which includes liner-free desk-side containers designated for all RECYCLABLE items. NON-RECYCLABLE items must be disposed of in a separate container easily identifiable with a black liner/bag which is usually located in a kitchen/break area or open work area.
The janitorial staff will dispose of these bags within their appropriate dumpsters located outside of each Building.
As office supplies and equipment come into your office, please be sure to adhere to the following BOX DISPOSAL PROCEDURE:
- All boxes must be broken down to a flat form (the janitorial staff will not take any box that is not broken down as required).
- Mark the boxes “TRASH/BASURA” (the janitorial staff will not take anything that is not marked).
- Do not leave any boxes in the common areas of the building (this is a fire code violation).
- Tenants may not fill or partially fill any dumpster.
There are two (2) dumpsters per Building designated for RECYCLABLE and NON-RECYCLABLE waste. These are reserved for the nightly janitorial service and are not designed for bulk trash. If your office needs to remove a large amount of trash, please submit a service request and we will coordinate an extra pick-up at your expense.
Downtown Doral along with our current vendor, World One has implemented a recycling program for Downtown Doral Buildings. All Buildings will need to comply with the recycling guidelines as follows:
Single Stream Recycling - This program will include your current waste containers under your desk which will be designated for all RECYCLABLE items (lined with a clear liner bag), along with a separate larger container which would usually be located in a kitchen or break area labeled NON-RECYCLABLE items (lined with a black liner bag).
On a daily basis, our janitorial service will dispose of these bags within their appropriate dumpsters located outside of each Building.
There are 2 dumpsters per Building designated for RECYCLABLE and NON-RECYCLABLE waste. Included, please find recycling guidelines, a recycling flyer and please visit two recycling websites that are beneficial for moving towards a “Green Environment”.
“Shred-It”, is the world’s largest provider of on-site mobile document destruction. Included, please find their services proposal provided for all Tenants interested in this program throughout the Downtown Doral Office Park. Codina Management, LLC negotiated all costs per the proposal, and the insurance policy has been provided for you.
